World Wine Tourism Day 2019
Rethymno celebrates with one more special Wine Tourism Tour!
In the context of the celebration for the World Wine Tourism Day 2019, the Municipality of Rethymno and the Rethymno RECEVIN Team are organizing another special Wine Tourism Tour in the heart of our city.
On Sunday, November 10th at 18:00, a special Wine Tourism Tour will offer to all the participants a complete wine experience, including a wine tasting of Cretan varieties combined with selected dishes, especially prepared by some of the best restaurants and Boutique Hotels of Rethymno.
At the same time, the participants will enjoy a guided tour around the most beautiful parts of the Old Town and they will have the opportunity to find out about the wine routes of the island of Crete by experienced professionals and to learn invaluable information on indigenous varieties and quality bottled Cretan wine.
The World Wine Tourism Day in Crete is organized by the Cretan Winemakers Network, with the participation of two wineries from Rethymno: Klados Winery in Panormo and Zouberakis Winery in Kali Sykia, among a total of 16 wineries-members of the Wines of Crete, which will remain open on Sunday, November 10, 2019, from 11am to 5pm.
