Every day's precious - Contemporary Art Museum of Crete

Starting from November 10, 2022, the Museum of Modern Art has a special collection, and  hosting two incredible exhibitions: "Every Day's Precious" and "Heterogeneities: New Acquisitions." The curation of Maria Marangou and Kostas Christidis, promises to be a visual feast.

Explore the artistic world of Lefteris Kanakakis. His work forms the soul of our collection, and we're excited to showcase it. Kanakakis' art is a celebration of everyday objects and materiality, embracing modern humanism. 

 Heterogeneities: New Acquisitions

This section is all about fresh additions to the museum collection. It reflects the contemporary concerns and tendencies of the art world. Discover the diversity and innovation of today's artists as they express themselves in unique ways.

Featured Artists: Giannis Adamakos, Stelios Alexakis, Nikos Viskadourakis, and many more talented creators are part of this artistic collection!

The exhibition is open until November 30, 2023.
