The renowned chef Michalis Hasikos, originated from Asia Minor, retrieves a recipe from Minor Asia, the “Keskesi- Kara Bourna”.
The basic recipe is found throughout Asia Minor as a traditional wedding food. Keskesi was also cooked on Christmas and Easter holiday.
21:30 Concert with the Vamos Orchestra
The impact of Asia Minor music on the Greek music tradition and its evolution with the arrival of refugees has been huge. After 1922 this genre, genuine or transformed, spread to a wide
range of the population of Greece thanks to the phonograph.
The ensemble Vamos Orchestra redefines soft folk music and rebetiko with a more modern character, and uses this new musical timbre to show us how they sang for love, pain, poverty, etc.
