These gorges are ideal for inexperienced walkers and groups. Both are part of the E4 European trail.
Kollita Gorges consist of two parallel gorges. The first one, called Moudriano Gorge, starts from the village of Mundros and ends just outside Velonado and takes 2 hours to cross. It has water most of the time.
The second one, Kato Poros Gorge, starts before Villandredo and through the village of Kato Poros ends at the Tombs of the Five Virgins in Ancient Lapa before Argyroupoli. It is almost always in the shade and rich wildflowers and rock overhangs. From there a stone path leads to Argyroupoli.
