14th Rethymno City Run

The 14th Rethymno City Run will happen on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 on the streets of Rethymno City. This fun athletic event has become a yearly tradition that runners and locals look forward to. It lets people enjoy sports and see the beautiful city differently. The start and finish will be at the Municipal Garden of Rethymno.

There will be three parallel races that day:

• 10,000m and 5,000m races for adults born in 2005 or earlier
• 1,000m race for primary school children in grades 4-6 (born 2012-2017) and disabled athletes of any age
• Younger children can also join the 1,000m if accompanied by a parent
  The children's 1,000m race will take place inside the Municipal Garden.

The 5,000m and 10,000m races have a 10 euro entry fee, but the children's and disabled races are free.

All participants in every race will receive a medal, certificate, and t-shirt.

There is also a giveaway prize for those who register early by May 13th.
