Gastronomic programs and experiences will be offered from Tuesday, July 20, and every Tuesday and Thursday at the Center of Cretan Gastronomy in Argyroupoli, Rethymno.
The programs will strictly concern small groups with all measures to limit the spread of covid-19.
The Center of Cretan Gastronomy was founded by the Region of Crete and is housed in the three-story neoclassical building built in 1933, known as "Manousaki Mansion" in Argyroupoli in the Prefecture of Rethymno.
It operates under the umbrella of the Agri-Food Partnership of the Region of Crete, with the aim of connecting the primary sector with tourism, promoting the brand "Crete" for services and businesses, and promoting Cretan Gastronomy through educational and experiential programs for children and adults.
The programs that will be implemented on Tuesday & Thursday and will concern the following experiences:
Acquaintance with "the Cretan Basket" Tasting of local products
Includes graviera cheese, honey, feta, olives, nut, olive oil with oregano and tomato, tsikoudia.

Cooking lessons With the guidance of a local chef, we prepare with our visitor's traditional Cretan recipes in a delicious wandering in the simplicity of Cretan Gastronomy.
By arrangement. For small groups of up to 6 people.
Wine from a Cretan winery is offered.
