Celebrating St.George, cultural and religious event.
For those that have made their way to Koumi, it is a chance to experience this cultural and spiritual Communion
After the Mass, the procession of the icon of St.George begins .accompanied by the local Cretan horses Georgalidika and riders followed by the youth of the association of culture of Cretan costumes.
Shortly after the custom of the blessing of the dairy products, cheese, and white cream cheese is offered to all those that attended Mass.
