Rethymno is hosting the annual City Running athletic event that takes place on Sunday May 14th.

13th ROUND OF RETHYMNO CITY

A: 10,000 meters road race

   B: 1,000-meter road race for elementary school students

   C: 1000 meter road race for the disabled

   D: Road race 5,000 meters

   E: 5000-meter high school road race

DATE: SUNDAY 14 MAY 2023

PLACE: RETHYMNO

START (at 9:30 a.m ) AND END PLACE: Rethymnon Municipal Garden

RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE:

            Participation in the 10km race is allowed to those who were born in the year 2004 and older, ie over 18 years old.

          Participants in the 5km Road race must be born in the year 2004 and older, ie over 18 years old.

The 1000m road race for primary school students is addressed to primary school students (students born from 2010 to 2012).

The 1000m Disabled Road Race

Younger children can also participate accompanied by their parents. 

 PARTICIPATION FEE:

The 13th City Running is a community celelebration with free entry for youth, 10euro for the 10km and 7euro for the 5km race.

Part of the earnings will be donated to the Rethymno Association of  People with Special Needs for social purposes.
