Traditional Music Concert in Rethymno Fortress

The  Music School of Rethymno will hold a special spring concert on  Thursday, April 25th. The concert will feature traditional Greek music.

It will occur at the  Tholos area inside the Fortezza, the big Venetian fortress in Rethymnon.  The concert begins at 8 pm.

The concert is free and open to the public.

It offers an opportunity to enjoy the talents of the Music School's students while being transported by beautiful traditional melodies from our past.

Students from the Music School will perform songs and music from the rich traditions of Greek folk music and dance.

The historic setting of the Fortezza will provide a beautiful backdrop for this cultural event.

Locals and visitors to the city are invited to attend this celebration of Cretan and Greek musical heritage.

Listening to traditional tunes in the atmospheric fortress under the spring night sky promises to be a memorable experience.
