Don't miss the 3rd Annual Event by the Traditional Association "AKRITES"  happening on Friday, June 7th, 2024 at 9:00 pm on the hill of Fortezza in Rethymno.

The theme of this year's event is "Dances of Crete." You'll get to experience all the traditional dances from across the island performed by dance groups from different regions of Crete. It will be a unique celebration of Cretan dance and culture.

Martsakis

The dances will be accompanied by the live musical band of Antonis Marchakis, adding to the festive atmosphere.

This annual event is co-organized with the Region of Crete to showcase and preserve Crete's rich dance heritage.

So get ready for a wonderful evening under the stars at the historic Fortezza venue.

You'll be immersed in the vibrant dances, music, and traditions that make Crete so special.

Admission is free for everyone!
