Manolis Anagnostakis

So what does poetry help with? The Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in the Age of Artificial Intelligence"

Exploring Poetry & AI - A Thought-Provoking Event
The Panhellenic Society of Friends of poet Manolis Anagnostakis invites you to a fascinating discussion on the intersection of art, humanities, and artificial intelligence.

This annual event dedicates 2024's program to examining the new frontiers of creative expression in our increasingly AI-driven world.

An esteemed panel of experts, researchers, and philosophers will share their insights:

Michalis Bletsas - Researcher at MIT Media Lab "What is Artificial Intelligence?"

Melina Tamialaki - University of Crete  Insights from the "TALOS AI for All" project

Nikos Erinakis - Poet & University of Crete Professor "Contemplation and Poetry in the Age of Artificial Creativity"

Michalis Deligiannis - Computer Science & AI Specialist Manolis Anagnostakis' poems set to music via AI

The boundary-pushing discussion will even incorporate AI-generated poetry readings to fuel the dialogue. Attendees can experience the intersection of human and machine creativity firsthand.

Join us for this thought-provoking event exploring how rapidly evolving technology could shape the future of artistic and intellectual endeavors.

City of Rethymno

You are invited to travel to areas, which are perhaps still unknown to the majority, and which are sometimes remote, but always magical and magnificent throughout the seasons. We recommend our visitors to see our picturesque villages through the eyes of the soul, try the Cretan cuisine, our wine and “tsikoudia”, participate in our revelries and festivities, but most importantly get to know our soul, our hospitality, the safe, untouched interior of the region, the other Rethymno.
