6th Antivaro Festival
Dedicated to Pantelis Prevelakis

The artistic and cultural association "Antivaro" on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the death of Pantelis Prevelakis, perhaps the greatest intellectual of Rethymno during the 20th century, honors the work of the great scholar and, at the same time, announces the opening of the 6th Antivaro festival. dedicated to the work of this great creator.

AMKE "Steropi" presents the first time the work of P. Prevelakis "Mimos" (1928) directed by M. Seiragakis, starring Dimitri Rekatchevski, an actor and an expert of physical theater and mime and choreography by Tonia Vasilakou, who teaches mime and physical theater at the University of Peloponnese.

The show will be in Greek and French, with the use of supertitles.
The show is a co-organization of the Region of Crete, Regional Unit of Rethymnon, with the support of the Municipality of Rethymno and with the courtesy of the space by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Rethymnon.


Translation by Dimitris Filias, scenery, and costumes by Kalli Karadaki,  music by Giannis Papatzanis and George Zacharioudakis. Starring Dimitri Rekatchevski, Demosthenes Charitakis Lina Seiragaki, Spyros Androulakis, Georgia Koundourou, Ermioni Charitaki, Chara Chatzimanolaki.
