“Fairy tales at the edge of memory”. Fairy tales mean consolation. Animals, birds, trees, and even inanimate objects take a mythic proportion, storytelling from a bygone era.

The tour of the gastronomy of the natives and refugees of Rethymno during the 1920s includes numerous stops in grocery stores, food shops, ouzeri, and cafes in the street food.
